Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and WEB rješenja d.o.o., Croatia (“we”, “us”), about your use of the Pocketlyne mobile application (“the app”). By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

1. What Pocketlyne is

Pocketlyne is an independent, third-party client for Outline, an open-source team wiki. It connects to an Outline instance that you choose and have the right to access.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by General Outline, Inc. We do not supply, host, operate or support Outline itself, and we do not sell accounts on it. “Outline” is used here only to describe what the app is compatible with.

2. What you need

To use the app you need access to an Outline instance and valid credentials for it. You are responsible for holding that access lawfully and for complying with the rules of whoever operates that instance. We have no control over it: its availability, its content, its API behaviour and any changes to it are outside our responsibility.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer or modify the app, or remove any notice from it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by mandatory law.

Apps downloaded from the App Store are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where it conflicts with these terms, the stricter provision applies to that download.

4. Free use and Pocketlyne Pro

Reading is free: browsing, search and offline access require no payment. Pocketlyne Pro is an optional auto-renewing annual subscription that unlocks creating and editing content on your Outline instance.

  • Subscription: Pocketlyne Pro.
  • Period: one year, renewing automatically.
  • Price: shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm, and in your store account afterwards. There is no free trial.
  • Payment: charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Managing it: manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

A subscription entitles you to the Pro features the app offers at the time. We may add features; if we ever remove a material one, your existing paid period is unaffected.

5. Restoring a purchase

The entitlement belongs to the store account that bought it. Use “Restore purchases” in the app to recover it on a new device or after reinstalling. Family Sharing applies only where the store offers it for this product.

6. Refunds and withdrawal

Purchases are made from Apple or Google, not from us, so refunds are handled under their policies: Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, Google via Google Play. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, but write to hello@ws.agency if something does not work and we will help.

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content; by starting to use a paid feature immediately you consent to performance beginning before that period ends and acknowledge that the right lapses once performance is complete. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

We claim no ownership of anything you read or write through the app. Your documents stay between your device and your Outline instance — see the Privacy Policy. Keeping your own backups of your Outline data remains your responsibility.

9. Availability and changes

The app is provided as it is at the time. We may update, change or discontinue it, and an update may be required for it to keep working with a given Outline version or operating system. If we discontinue the app, we will not charge for a renewal after that point.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with every Outline instance or version.

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for personal injury, without limitation. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement and, in total, to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and mandatory consumer rights under Croatian and EU law are unaffected.

We are not responsible for loss or corruption of data occurring on your Outline instance or caused by its operator, nor for the instance being unavailable.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it; cancel any subscription separately in your store account. We may suspend the licence if you materially breach these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the amended terms; if you do not, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.

13. Governing law

Croatian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own courts. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
